Voice Broadcasts
Voice Broadcasts allow you to send a pre-recorded Audio recording to multiple Contacts at the same time. If someone answers, the message is played live. Otherwise, the message goes to their VoiceMail.
If a Voice Broadcast call is answered live, there are options for digit presses, by the person answering the call. For example, Press 1 to Unsubscribe, Press 9 to Transfer, and/or Press 2 to Opt-in to receive SMS messages.
The Caller ID number can be configured as well, by first validating it.
Voice Broadcasts can be sent immediately, or scheduled for later delivery.
How to create a Voice Broadcast
To create a Voice Broadcast message, go to Send Voice > Voice Broadcasts.
- 1. Enter a Voice Broadcast Name.
- 2. Select Contacts and/or Groups that the Voice Broadcast will be sent to.
- 3. Enter a Caller ID number, which needs to be validated, before its first use.
- 4. Click the Validate button. You will receive a call from (415) 723-4000 with a PIN number.
- 5. Select a pre-recorded Audio.
- 6. Configure the optional Unsubscribe and Transfer digit presses.
- 7. Configure the optional SMS Opt-in digit press and opt-in response.
- 8. Schedule the message, or
- 9. Click the Submit button, to send immediately.
